Television presenter Jenni Falconer has been told not to get any wedding ideas from her new GMTV role.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Jenni explained that she is to host the show's new Battle of the Brides competition and had to pose for her own wedding photography as part of the promotion.

The 32-year-old, who is dating Cutting It actor James Midgley, added: "If I did start getting the wedding bug my boyfriend would freak."

"People are still asking us when we will get married, even though they realise the answer is not coming back," she added. "We have just got a dog, actually, and that's commitment enough for us."

GMTV's competition will see a number of wannabe brides try and complete a series of challenges to win their ideal wedding.

Jenni told the newspaper that the winning bride will be able to afford their perfect wedding ideas as there is a £6,000 gown up for grabs, along with a castle venue, Jamaican honeymoon and celebrity haircut.
